The projects in this section are examples of my user experience work. This includes establishing a design palette for the client, site map and navigation elements.
Busy navigation: simplify and priortize content
Ambiguous feature: highlight important clients in a snapshot and create profiles for them
Lacking global feel to design: create a hero image landing page with carousel and a brief introduction to the company
No mission statement: highlight mission statement and services
As seen here 2 moodboards were created along with 2 different styles of navigation both horizontal and vertical to present to the client. The user flow for the site as seen would be common to either choice.
Home page module:
A locally female owned landscape design company with a vision to grow the business through a better online presence and brand refresh.
Based on client interview and researching similar businesses, I presented a concept Moodboard, the main landing page with a revamped logo and a user flow chart for the website that will be built on the square space platform.
ROLE: Visual Designer
This is a project very close to my heart. Rockwall Pets is a Texas based non profit animal shelter advocating 'No Kill Policy'. I appreciated the opportunity to be able to volunteer my design services for the cause.
Image editing, buttons, site map and co-ordinating with the Wordpress developer were all part of the design process and the new website is definitely more streamlined and a great user experience thus increasing awareness and chances of adoption for the animals.
